Dito Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the Dito app, provided by Works2DEV. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. How we handle data is described in the Dito Privacy Policy.

What Dito is, and what it isn’t

Dito records healthcare appointments, with consent, and organizes what was said into a summary sheet with diagnosis, medicines, exams, warning signs, follow-up and pending items.

Dito is not a medical device or a healthcare service. It does not diagnose, prescribe or interpret exams, and it does not replace professional advice. If you have any doubt about a summary sheet, check with the professional you saw. In an emergency, seek care immediately.

Summary sheets are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions or mis-transcribed passages, especially in noisy environments. Review each summary sheet, particularly medicine names, doses and dates, before acting on it.

Who may use it

You must be 18 or older, or the minimum age required by the law of your country, to use Dito. You may use the app to follow appointments of other people, such as family members, when they have authorized you or you are their legal guardian.

Recording and consent

• Before recording, tell the professional and get their agreement. The app offers a ready-made phrase and asks you to confirm.
• You alone are responsible for obtaining that consent and for using recordings lawfully.
• Do not use Dito to record people without their knowledge, or for any purpose other than following your own care or the care of the people you look after.

Subscription, free trial and quota

• Some features require a subscription, billed by the App Store or Google Play at the price and interval shown on the purchase screen.
• The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You manage and cancel it in your store account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
• A free trial may be offered once per device.
• Transcription uses quota minutes. Your balance and limits are shown in the app. Demo recordings don’t use minutes.
• Refunds follow the rules of the store where you bought the subscription, without prejudice to consumer rights under applicable law.

Acceptable use

You may not: circumvent quota or free-trial limits; reverse engineer the app or service, except where the law allows it; use the service in automated or abusive ways; or use Dito for any unlawful purpose.

Your data and your content

Recordings and summary sheets are yours and stay on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for backing it up if you want to keep your history. Works2DEV cannot recover summary sheets that were deleted or lost with a device.

Intellectual property

The app, the Dito brand, its design and its software belong to Works2DEV. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app while these terms are in effect.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but transcription depends on the internet and on external providers and may be unavailable at times. Recording never depends on the network: the recording waits in a queue and is processed when you’re back online. We may change or discontinue features. Relevant changes will be announced with reasonable notice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Works2DEV is not liable for health decisions made based on summary-sheet content without professional confirmation, for transcription errors, for lack of consent from the person recorded, or for data loss caused by the device, the operating system or missing backups. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law guarantees to consumers.

Termination

You may stop using Dito at any time: uninstall the app and cancel the subscription in your store. We may suspend access if these terms are violated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. Disputes shall be settled in the courts of the consumer’s domicile.
